Vernon, Federal Hill, Locust Point, and Canton; Southwest Baltimore County including Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Woodlawn, Catonsville, and Halethorpe; Elkridge, Columbia, and Northern Howard County; Sykesville, Eldersburg, and Westminster. When Can I Expect Delivery?
Central Baltimore, Carroll County, and Catonsville deliveries are made Wednesday afternoons. All of the rest are made Thursday morning. Canton may be made Thursday early afternoon. We can give you a more precise time according to your location. Delivery days may have to be moved around occasionally.
How Do I Place An Order?
Orders are made through email: greensgene@gmail.com. We send out the list of options for the week every Monday around noon. Simply send in your choices by the end of the day Tuesday and we will harvest and deliver right to your door! You can send in your choices any way you like, whether it be separated by commas or in a bullet/numbered list. You’ll be communicating with Gene directly, so please send and questions or comments! Once you send your order, you can assume it was received. A lot of emails come in at once, and it would take a lot of time to respond to them all.

How Do I Pay For An Order?
We take nearly every form of payment, with Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle being preferred. Venmo @Gene-Edwards, you can use greensgene@gmail.com for PayPal or Zelle. Cash and check are also readily accepted. Other options are available if these won’t work for you.
Do You Use Pesticides?
The goal of our farm is to attract as much wildlife as possible, especially native insects which are currently on a downward spiral to extinction. We are not pesticide free, but don’t use harsh chemical pesticides or fungicides. We use organic certified pesticides, and pyrethrins if necessary. Herbicides are used as spot treatment for noxious invasive plants that are nearly impossible to get rid of otherwise. We never blanket spray the fields where food is grown.
Other Things To Know:
On hotter days, please leave a cooler for your produce if you won’t be able to get to it right away. A cooler will also prevent produce from freezing on very cold days.
Each choice from the produce list is a bunch or one unit depending on what the choice is. For example, 3 zucchini, 1 cantaloupe, 1 bunch kale, 1 quart strawberries, 3 onions, 1 lb potatoes, 2 lbs carrots, and so on.
You can make multiple choices of an item i.e. 3 butternut squashes, 2 zucchini, 2 garlic.
We collect and reuse bags, egg cartons, and jars. You can leave them for us to collect.
